Year and description don't match, so, we'll see....

That was my thought as well.

When I was small, my father owned a 1958 Oldsmobile 98 with 371 Tri-Power engine, 4 speed Hydramatic, and AC.

What a car in it's day!

So you caught that too. My first car was a '53 Olds Super 88. I put a 371 engine out of '57 in it. It was bored out and ran high compression pistons and a mild street cam.

I would have gone with the 58' Olds Rocket explanation, much cooler.
