1955/56 VAI TRACTOR

I have 1955/56 VAI tractor needing the gear oil replaced.
What would be a good weight/brand I should use

I replaced it about two yrs ago and found a lot of water in the oil.
Since then, I replaced a number of seals and boot around the shifter to help
Eliminate this problem..

I also noticed a noisy drive train and. Hoping replacing the oil
will make it quieter

No, seems like 7 gallons in the trans. and rearend. Have to look in a manual.

Casecollector and OP, 7 gallons seems right, but its been awhile since I replaced the gear lube in my VAC. gobble
