Seems like I am not getting too many responses...
Does any know or have any ideas on how I can replace just the top of the
Cap (black part)...

I'm not sure what you are asking exactly? I'm thinking your option to replace it with an original style would be a used one off of another tractor.

Is there a problem with yours?

Thanxs...used one is hard to find but a new one hasn't have the same look ...

The current unit has many holes in the cap that keeps the rain out..short of
All the metal work to make a new one i was hoping there is a used or a new cap
(black part) That is available

The current one fills the oil bath with water

Where have you checked for a used one?

I know of Elmers Repair in Centralia, KS, Wengers in Myerstown, PA, and Don Livingston (Rusty Acres) in Austin, MN as places that salvage Case tractors. I'm sure there are more.

I understand your desire to keep it looking original, but to me keeping water out of the oil bath takes precedence over original looks. If an aftermarket version is available, I'd get one to keep the water out at least while you look for an original one, unless the price is very exorbitant.
