1955 chevy coe

Just aquired a 55 Chevy 7700 big truck, coe. I have contacted vendors as to body repair panels for the cab and doors. They have everything for the 55 pickups, but are not sure the cab and doors are the same as a pickup. The actual upper cab and doors look the same, anyone know for sure? Thanks for any info.

Also where do I find the vin number or info tag on this truck? May be the same location as pickups? Thanks

I can't help you with body parts except to tell the weather strip is the same as pickups,, as is all the hardware. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is on a metal tag on the upper left door post as you open the door. If all you see is two broken rivets, that's where it was. I did a complete restoration on a '57 5700 LCF, and found truckandcarshop.com was very helpful with parts. Good prices and great service.
