Oliver 1955 with issues. Power steering, brakes and hydraulic remotes work, reservoir loses oil, three-point lift stuck at top, PTO does not work. Where and how to start trouble shooting?

Thanks

First, assess its condition.
Second, set a budget for yourself on how much you are willing to invest in it before you are willing to sell/salvage/scrap it.
Third, get the service manual.

None of the problems listed sound too bad to repair. The wording threw me at first as if the power steering, brakes and hydraulic remotes were all major issues.

History? New to you, recently stopped working, or pulled from Grampa's fence row where it was parked for several decades?

PTO clutch pressure plate seals will dump oil in quickly. If clutches or the PTO brake is shot, it'll happen quickly because the pistons over extend themselves. Block the lines off going to the PTO valve and see if your oil problem stops. Brakes and pto use the same pressure at around 210 psi. Everything else uses system pressure around 2800 psi.
