1957 Chevy COE question.

Its the 7700 series. The front brakes are stuck. I noticed an 'L' stamped into the stud for the front lugbolts. I assume this means they are left handed threads?? Would the rear duals be left handed also? Have not attempted to loosen any yet.

Yup, should be left hand threads on left side of truck, right hand on right side.
UNLESS you have cast-spoke type wheels with the little clamps. Those are all right hand thread.

I don,t think its the spoke wheels. They look like steel, with those bands to hold the tire on. Think they have 5 oblong holes in the wheel. Didn't notice any type clamps.
 
definitely steel wheels, the spokes are cast, with spokes, [ think crager classic style mag wheels from the '70's, but the truck ones are very heavy duty looking [ they are heavy too], usually painted black and ugly, on these style wheels just the outer rim comes off the truck to change a tire, kind of like a mobile home style wheel,
