1960 Farmall gas tractor problem

A previous owner obviously had the right (when facing the tractors rear) axle removed and put back on. You can see the gasket in this picture. Could that be how to access the Pto clutch so it can be pulled out of the tractor's rear or does the Pto just get unbolted and pulled out? Please and thank you.

Pto comes out the back. There may be long and short bolts, so do not pry on it. Look at the parts diagram on the caseih.com web site under parts, Jim
