Hello all and thanks for the add. I have a friend who has a 1962 530 gas engine tractor with a loader bucket. He's saying the hydraulics are really slow. I don't know if it's both the 3 point and the bucket or just the bucket. Is there a suction screen in the sump and how hard is it to remove and replace or clean? Thanks for any help.

The filter is located on the left side
below the fuel tank. It has three bolts
that hold the cover plate on. The filter,
if still in good shape, can be washed out
with gas and reused. If not reusable, call
Saeli Imp. at 315-585-9826.

My brother has a case 530 he just finished doing clutch work and rebuilt his steering cylinders so when he put it back together we had to get the air out. He used hydraulic fluid instead of what the book calls for. Anyway when we got the air out he said it steers nor but it takes both hands.
Any suggestions?
