1962 ford 4000

I'm rewiring a1962 ford 4000 light industrial loader back hoe. It was converted to 12v by po. I have chosen to go with one wire alternator and need a simple wiring diagram. no lights, just a volt meter. Thanks Roark

run your wire from the alternator to the large post on the left side of the solenoid (as you stand in front of it), same post you will run your positive battery cable.

If you are useing a amp gauge then you need to run the one wire through the gauge and then back to the solenoid.

You are right he did say he was using an amp gauge.

then wire all loads off the side of the ammeter hooked to the alternator.
