This thing runs and operates well. And one flat rate we re tired that I cannot get it to air up even with the super green goop. Otherwise do you think it s worth more than 1300 bucks? My customer is being offered that much for it I m everything I know it s a 1962 model 35 and it runs great

I don't know where you are but in Ontario, one like that, if in good condition, would run in the $3-4,000 range. My neighbour sold his 1958 MF 35 (diesel) several
years ago for $6,300, an usually high price. I have 2 similar machines, and I expect they are worth around $3,500 each (Cnd.)

Are you sure the tire you are trying to air up is tubeless, not tubed? Super green goop on the tire, won't help air up a tube with a hole in it.

Should be worth more than $1300. How much depends on the area, prices of other options buyers can find, and how bad the current owner needs/wants to move it.

May I ask, the model of the Engine...?

Have you tried the Three-point lift.?

Ran it through all Gears..Both High Range and Low Range..??

I recently totally stripped a MF 35 six speed Transmision....(2021)

And yes, the total cost for all components that HAD to be replaced in Transmission was just over $2500.00 Canadian.
Parts purchased through this site YT.plus $300.00 to machine all tooling / Mandrels required to install all OIL
SEALS in both Transmision INPUT SHAFTS.
I also had to replace all components in the CLUTCH ASSEMBLY...7000 HRS on Clutch..(2021)..Purchased Clutch assembly
form COMPLETE TRACTOR PARTS...Canadian $$$$'s $275.00

I also had to replace the Three-point Hydraulic pump..(2017)...$250.00
The Manual steering box was also worn out as the Tractor had a history of a LOADER on it..
Install a used Manual steering assembly from a parts machine....(2011)...$ 100.00
If your tractor requires any of the above, it is not worth one cent over $1500.00

I'm a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic and a Certified Power Engineer.
What would the labor have been to take the above to a modern up to date Farm Machinery shop..$100.00...$125.00
$150.00 / Hour?

Hello to everybody and thank you for your replies we are near Seattle Washington yes the three-point does work, I lifted it to change the angle of the blade so I could get the jack underneath the tractor to remove the tire the other day.
And yes it is a tubed tire I believe, but even with a tube that green slime should ve worked shouldn t it?

I am helping a client that I met at the parts store struggling with some shade tree mechanic to get his tractors running. I showed the guy which coil to purchase and gave him pointers, and tgat turned into him hiring me, so I am helping him repair and sell this stuff from his father s estate.

The engine model Z134. I will go back over there and air up the tire and drive it around and check all the gears today if I have time

The son of the man who bought and collected these is settling the estate, trying to make money to pay his dads bills off and keep the home in the family, every dollar counts.

I think the 52-53 Moline ZBA is sold for 1350, I haven t attended to the Oliver 70 yet, it needs a carb, but it drove into his dads garage when he bought it. The Kubota diesel sold two weeks ago, there s only the F35 and a Chinese garden tractor and some lawn stuff left that I m aware of, they re all running. I did the mf35 work and the Moline work, I ll get to the Oliver soon. Gotta pickup a zenith up draft for it, and install the dash and it should fire up and he can sell that big old thing too.

I bought a '61 this year for $1,200, in worse cosmetic shape but a solid runner. Spent about that again in gauges, fluids, wiring, carb kit, steering bearings, tie rod ends, etc. Rear tires are pretty worn and weather checked too.

Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay, of course.

I totally understand that. Going to drive it in a day or two. Check out clutch and steering and gears. Needs a pair of rear tires for sure. The rims are in excellent condition. Going to likely add a gallon of green slime then remove the wheel again and roll it flop it and twist it in every direction with 20 or so ft lbs of pressure to get the dang tube to seal after I air it up and do the test drive. It holds for a while.

I did it prior with only three little bottles and it got the majority of the leaks.

Customer wants to spend as little as possible yet still make funds for the estate.

I arrived and she runs great low range high range reverse first second and third all works wonderful the blade stays in the air when you position the blade thing in the right spot it drops down when you ask it to the PTO lever engages and disengage it but I don t know what it does lol.

Can anybody tell me why there would be an on off valve right here under the driver seat?
