1963 430 case starter

I have a 1963 G430 case with a backhoe and I can not find a starter. It is a two bolt 12 volt. the mounting flange has two 1/2 studs that are 4.250 apart and the fly wheel opening is 3.250. any help would be appreciated.

The starter that is on it now is off a massey with a 1/2 inch spacer. That has been rebuilt 3 times in 4 months. The rebuild guy thinks there is to much distance between the flange and the end of nose cone allowing it to bind. So it taks out the field coils and has broke brush springs'

This is the listed starter for a Case 430, and it is used on other case models. This starter has 3 mounting points.

Could it have had an engine transplant? The 320s and some others used a two-bolt mount starter. Remote solenoid? The 320 parts book gives a Case # of G44828. Web search that number and some show up with pictures and some specs.

any way you can attach a couple pictures of the mounting area, the engine and the tractor overall?

might help some folks find what you need. also post this on the Case page. many of them lurk over here as well but a few don't venture out much.
