1963 MF diesel question

Split my tractor apart today to replace the rear main seal. Thought I had everything I needed. I thought the rear seal was a round normal seal. But the only seal I see is the rope seal. I want to make sure that there is not another seal back there that could be leaking. I have all ready ordered the rope seal and that gasket. Also where can I find the wiring diagram at. I have a service manual and owners manual. But no diagram of wiring. Want to hook the light switch up. I ordered a new one. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I entered the PART # of both the Service Manual as well as the Parts Manual on the Internet. Purchased original MF Manuals..

Bob..Owner 1963 MF 35 3 cylinder Perkins. Has been on my Farm since new.

Thank you I feel better now since that is the only seal back there. I m trying to find that parts manual that you have or close to it. But I can t seem to locate one like that. I will keep looking.

John Deere D where did you get that parts manual from? I cannot seem to find one like that for myself. That seems more useful than any oter book i got. That service manual is as useless as I ever seen.

The are some of those manuals on eBay. The covers may be different, you need to look for the same publication numbers as on Bob's manuals' covers. You have to look at the listings for the MF35 and MF50, as well as the TO35 and TO30/35 adds and check the publication numbers shown in the adds. You may want to contact the sellers and confirm those are the actual publication numbers of the manuals they are selling.

651093M91 is the parts manual and 1448811M1 is the service manual. At the online AGCO parts books click on Search by Parts Book. Type 651093 in the box that opens and that parts book will come up as an option, Click on the title to open it.
