1964 3020D alternator bracket

Hi,

Does anyone know if the R40952 alternator bracket from the later model years of 3020 will mount up to a 1964 (early) version? My generator is no longer working properly and I'm thinking of converting to 12V and alternator.

If the new style bracket will not fit, we have an alternator conversion bracket that attaches to the original generator bracket. It is adjustable for different alternators and belt alignment.
