1967 Massey Ferguson 2135 turf special

Hello everyone!
I'm new here and I'm working on a Massey Ferguson 2135 steering issue.
Fixing a tractor for a friend of mine who's retired. His son is a mechanic but has been definitely ill in the hospital for almost a year so I'm trying to help them out to get his tractor going for the winter so he can move the snow.
The tractor started turning only one way and on further inspection I could see the wear plate for the rack. Gear has fallen apart so I took the two gear shops that swing the pitman arms off the fountain pieces inside and half of what looks like the rock gear that attaches to the power steering bolt/shaft.
Going to have to remove the steering column/ steering box from the machine to clean it and get a better look.
Looking online I found the steering rack gear the wear block with the cover on a few sites as well as Amazon.com. .com has anybody used these parts and can give me info on what to stay away or what to use?
Any tricks or tips would also help. Like can I do this without taking the steering box out.
I'm assuming these are normal wear parts as they're readily available to purchase.

Yeah I downloaded the service manual and put it on a USB for him. His service manual is at his son's and his son is in the hospital.
When I get the damn thing out I'll take pictures. It's not my forte but I got to help the old guy out
