Hello- Have you put your diesel in your combine yet? I just bought a D301, but am wondering if you used the same radiator, fuel tank/pump and separator clutch housing that was on your 263.

My email is not working at the moment, as it is located in Marshalltown, IA, which was hit with 80+ MPH winds. Tons of trees down, and thousands of acres of flat corn! Power should be back on in the next 24 hours.

Thanks

Hi 282 good to hear from you. I haven"t got the engine on the 403 yet. The 282 is set up as a power unit and I am giong to pump water with it this summer to be sure everything is ok before I switch it to the combine. According to my 403 parts book the radiator off a c263 will work on the d282. My parts book says the separator housings are the same so it should be a straight bolt up procedeure. If your 301 is off a combine the front plate already has mounting for the hydraulic pump. I know I am forgetting something been a long day irrigating corn. My email is [email protected] feel free to email me anytime

Oh yes 282 you should be able to use the same fuel tank just plumb the fuel return line into the tank or your fuel line. Your fuel pump will work I would add a water separator between the tank and pump.
