1969 4020 injection pump conversion.

Have a 1969 4020 with the cbc pump that I'm
converting to the jdp pump. Need the
throttle control rod, R47673, that runs to
the pump. Deere wants $44. Plan on making
my own. Pretty simple 1/4 rod with
threaded ends. Need the length of the rod.
Anybody got dimensions? Use to be able to
get that type of info from jdparts site but
can't seem to find that now that deere has
"upgraded" the site.

Just did my dad's a few months back. He got the rod from deere and it didn't fit worth a darn from what I remember. I believe I ended up tweaking it and I also had to make the hole bigger on the tractor where the rod goes through to the pump. I'll try and get a measurement tomorrow and pics after work. And what a difference that jdb pump makes! Sounds and runs so much better
