1969 4020 injector pump upgrade

I have a friend that owns a 1969 4020 with the original "C" pump. I would like to hear from Dieseltech and others on this forum about an estimate of the cost to do this including the injector work, the cost of the correct lines, and the correct pump upgrade itself. We have determined the fuel in the oil isn't coming from the lift pump,but is from the old leaky poor preforming "C" pump.
I would like to hear from anyone that has done this before with your thoughts on what worked for you and what didn't work.
I want to thank everyone on here that has helped me in the past.

The injectors should be fine as is if engine runs OK. I bought six new aftermarket lines for my 1970 4020 to go with the JDB pump I have ready to go but have not had time
to install yet. The JDB housing is needed for the block as the C and JDB use the same pilot size. Don't use the early DB pump as it won't be centered right since the late
block pilot hole is larger than the early blocks use.

Some call it Fea-bay. If you want to mess up your tractor just buy foreign junk from them and put it on your trusty tractor, then it won't be trusty anymore for sure. I often wander where the sellers come up with the prices they put on this stuff. They all have something or someone to blame for their high prices.

I have made bushings to use the older pump,, I leave a slight lip at the top to keep it in place.it works well.

No,I had a machine shop make them,,it's been a while since I did one,it's a thin bushing and I left a lip at the top to keep it from slipping down.

Thanks for the reply, we believe we should upgrade anyway to the later pump like the one JD sells in their kit for $2700 plus.

Thanks everyone;
