1969 Oliver 1655

I am considering buying a 1969 Oliver, model 1655 tractor. This machine comes with a 900 Himaster Loader hay-fork and a front-end loader bucket. Owner says its in great running shape.

Can anyone tell me what good points and bad points these olivers had and if a price of $6,000 seems fair. Thank you.

Great tractors, darn near bullet proof. You didn't say gas or diesel, both are good. Gas will be a bit more thirsty. Some folks think this is probably one of the better Oliver tractors built. Check service records and overall conditions. The price with a loader is in the ball park around here price wise. Good luck and welcome to the 'right color green'.

Sounds about right to me. 1550-1555,1650-1655s,great tractors,no real weakness.
