1970 case 1090 power shift hyd.issues

I have a case 1090 that the cutch slip’s in first gear and works in all other ranges. When setting in neural engine running it sounds like it shifts through everything properly. The 2nd issue is my hyd. Pressure for the remote's is low or restricted can barely lift a big bale with it. I have replaced the hydraulic pump and put every replaceable in the remote valve I can.
Are these 2 things related??
Witch would fix first??

They can very well be related. If ine of the clutch pack cylinders is leaking it draws all the oil from the pump. Go down to the case forum and ask there, they will be able to tell you the procedure to test the transmission.

Try lifting the bale in each powershift gear. If it will pickup the bale in 2 or 3 the hydraulics are OK. The powershift will need to repaired. The 1090 will need to be split and the top trany cover will have to come off. The powershift repair will require some special tools
