1971(?) 5000 Cold start delete

I have never used the cold start in the 25+ years I've had this tractor. Block heater and just a taste of ether gets it going when cold.
The reservoir is leaking, just looking to delete it and the glow plug.
Figuring to just run the injector leak-off line directly to the fuel tank.
Cut the fuel line, leave a stub at the glow plug, fold it and pinch closed. Or get a plug/cap.
I have a line that goes from the reservoir to the fuel filter. Cut the line, fold it and pinch closed. Or get a plug.

Am I missing anything?

Just put a T in place of the reservoir, that’s what they did on the later ones.
JMHO I’d use the cold start before I used starter fluid
