How much weight should one consider using on the rear of a 5000 tractor to counterweight the full of dirt loader?

I have a 1974 Ford 5000 with a loader. It has a 7 ft bucket. My tires are loaded and that is probably a total of around 1200 lb maybe a bit more I believe. If I pick up a full bucket of wet dirt or wet #53 gravel with fines I will lose a lot of traction. I'm in the process of painting the tractor and when I'm done I will add wheel weights that will total about another additional 600 lb. It also kind of depends on where you put the weight and how big your bucket is. If you have it hanging off the three-point hitch like someone has already suggested it might take a little less. But yes it would require over 1,000 lb.

The 5000 loader tractors we sold normally used a 1000 lb. concrete counter weight on the three point.
