Hi guys, I have been reading the shop manual just to find out how my tractor's insides work.
The manual refers to the 4000 as a major 4000 and some of the other 3000s as a dextra. What is the difference between the 4000 and a major 4000?
If you pull off the top cover for the hydralics will all of the hydralic operating mechisum come out to where it could be over hauled?
Some of the pictures in my manual are not real clear as the manual is a copy of the ford shop manual and some pictures did not copy real well.
It looks like the hydralic oil pump just unbolts from the tractor and is easly removed for over haul. Is this correct?
Thanks for any information that you might pass on.
Charlie
