1974 830 john deere brake system

I broke the line going to the left brake, repaired, but I cannot get to pump up.

Did you open bleeder on top of inside of LH axle housing to let air out? One needs to have engine operating at idle speed so trans pump can replenish brake valve reservoir with oil while completing the brake valve bleeding process. I've read of technicians utilizing a section of correct size diameter clear tubing to route air & oil back into hyd oil filler hole. Bleeding procedure is similar bleeding auto brakes.

I have not, but I did loosen the brake line at the connection on the Left side

You have already help, I thought the system work off the hydraulics, but was not sure. Thanks

I will try with the new information.
