1983 MF240 front drive axle

Hi,
I have a 1983 MF240 with a 4WD conversion. It is a Coventry, England made tractor. I have broken the front left drive axle. It is a short axle with a yolk and spline. I am told it is probably a Schindler conversion. I have spent a few years now trying to track one down with no luck. Any help would be fantasti.

I'd try a driveline shop or a machine shop. They may be able to repair it.

Thank you, yes, I've tried that. They can't repair it and want $3000 AUD to forge a new one.
