Hello I’m new to this site and from B.C Canada where are basically on fire in our valley.
I am looking at at a fully operational 1988 Case 1835C that has not been commercially operated and starts up and runs well from what I experienced. It comes with glow plugs and plug heater, forks , bucket and Aux hydraulics foot control. The meter says 3542 hrs and it has the unpopular Continental Teledyne diesel engine.
I will be using it very lightly on my 8 acre hobby farm doing very light work around barn and house and in our winters plow some snow down our 800 ft drive.
I’ve known the seller over 40 yrs and he said it is reliable and tough and he wouldn’t have a problem selling to me.
3000$ canadian
….. I think it’s a steal… any thought or advice

Sounds like you've already talked yourself into it, Case UNI Loaders were the gold standard for a long time, I don't know a thing about the engine but 3k for price sounds pretty reasonable.
