2-105 Front Axle Pin

How do I remove the pivot pin on the front axle? I need to replace the axle tube on my 2-105 after the original failed. I have the replacement ready. I don't really see how the pin is held into place other than press fit. I don't want to break anything else trying to force it out if I'm missing something. Or do I just get an air hammer and go after it?

Look up under the back side. There's another pin, about 3/8 diameter that goes crossways through the casting and the pivot pin.

Thanks. I believe I found it. I had to scrape away 50 years of grease and grime to get to it!

The next question - how does the steering center arm come off? I can see the castle nut. But it looks like that goes through some sort of plate that bolts to the tractor frame. I don't want to tear something up trying to force things off!

I've done it two ways. You can take the top cap off the cylinder and pull the shaft and gear out the top, or unbolt the casting where the pivot is, put in a few longer guide bolts and jack up the whole frame far enough for the shaft to go above the arm.
