2-105 radio

I may have asked this before I can't remember. Does anybody know of a good replacement radio and speakers for the older White cabs? Is there something available that will fit in the original location? If so what brand or where did you get it from?

I've got an AM FM out of mine here somewhere. I could kick myself six ways from Sunday for replacing it. Turned out the radio wasn't the problem. When I put a new one in, it wouldn't work either. The speaker was bad. I bought a new speaker off Amazon. I'd have to look and see what the make and model of the new radio is. It has a CD player in it. I mounted it in the original place, but I had to take a die grinder and make the hole larger and square it up so the holes where the knobs were had the be cut out, so now I can't put the original back in it.

I finally thought to look. I've replaced them in the 2-105 and the 2-135 both. They're both located in the same place. I can't find model numbers on either one, but the one in the 135 is the oldest. It's a Panasonic AM/FM cassette. The one in the 105 is a Boss Audio Systems AM/FM/CD/MP3. Both in the original location, but like I said, I had to cut the holes out. Anything made to go in the original location in a car should fit I would think. The only problem with putting those digital radios in an older tractor like that, you have to run another hot wire up through the cab post so they have power all the time to keep from loosing your presets. I put a fusible link in them down where I could get at it just incase of a short in a wire.

Ok thanks. I think I will try a different speaker first and see what that gets me.
