2 instead of 1 cylinder on case 400

Could a guy put 2 lift cylinders instead of one on a Case 400? The stock ones seals are blown out and I have two from the tilt on a loader that are like new. If not I'll keep looking for a seal kit.

That is a short stroke cylinder, not just any will work. Did you try John Saeli for parts? Any hydraulic repair shop should have seals.

I had mine repaired at the local hydraulic shop. Easy as dropping it off in the morning where they have all the tools and experience. Picked it up the next afternoon. The shop owner thought it was for an Allis-Chalmers so he gave me a milk can painted in A/C colors and decals. It took me longer to cut the bottom out of the can and re-paint it into more appropriate colors than it did to repair the cylinder.
