i found the numbers that i got off the tag under hood tractor c514211,bo del BL223C,unit 6L01B,engine 6K05B. what do i have ? thank you for your help.

if that is a B1223C

then it is a 4-68 or newer 2000 highway model, gas, live 540 pto, with 8spd tranny.

a date code of 6L01B is 1976, november, 01 B ( day ) shift... was it perhaps a 5L01B ??

sn of c514211 would indicate 1975 ( at least 1975 sn start is C450700 )

i cant check the numbers but this is what i got off tag this summer.i am just trying to get an idea of what size trailer i need to get.the tractor is on top of mountain only way to get their now is snowmobil no winter maintence on road.thanks for all the help.

a 16' tandam axle ( with brakes )car hauler rated at 7K will do it.. though an 18' with or without beavertail is nicer if there is a laoder involved.

Tractordata shows C490300 as the starting serial number for 1976 and C527300 as the starting number for 1977. So that serial number should actually be a late 1976, which would make it a 2600, as they stopped making the 2000 and replaced it with the 2600 in 1975.

A late '76 serial number agrees with the production code 6L01B, which would be November 1st, 1976, day shift.
