My pal Kenny is putting together a 201D that was originally in a 1983 545 with the X bracing on the sides of the block.
He's needing a set of push rods. I believe they are the longer ones.
How long should they be?
I think the early ones were shorter and used a different lifter.
Does anyone know the length of the long ones?
Does anyone have a set of 6 to sell.
Thanks - for Kenny

I asked GROK AI.
It says they should be 12.17" long.
Anybody have a set?
I have the expert Ford Tractor Man Larry D in Louisiana looking for me but if he doesn't have them we'll need another source.

Gas and very early diesels used the taller lifters with 10.675” push rods
Diesels after 8/65 used shorter shell type lifters with 12.17” push rods
These push rods were uses in all 3 cyl, 4 cyl, 6 cyl Ford diesels 8/65 - 90’s. This does not include earlier design Red Tiger engines or the taller block 301 4 cyl or 457 6 cylinder used in some 40’s series tractors
Part # C5NE6567B available on this site $7.20 each
Google search showed prices from $4 to $12 each
I should have some used one laying around but not sure about any wear, for less than $10 each shipped I’d go with new
