2011 Dodge 3500 ?

I finally ran out of free oil change slips from the dealer so I dropped the oil and changed the filter this morning. I cant get the d&mn oil change message off the display, and yes i did read the manual. Turn ignition to run press throttle completely three times within ten seconds an then turn key off. Im no rocket scientist but i can floor the throttle pedal 3 times within 10 seconds with the key on and then turn it off! What am i missing? Any advice would be appreciated.

Try using the whole ten seconds not 3 times in three seconds.

If all else fails, read the directions again and FOLLOW THEM THIS TIME.....

On mine the floor mat was keeping the pedal from goind down far enough to reset.

I agree, press the pedal 3 times slowly within the 10 seconds.

My 2008 is this way as well. You don't have to push the accelerator very fast but you do have to push it clear down. I tried it fast and it didn't work. Slow down and it should. Mike
