2017 - 2 new project

Got a new set of toys today, a dewalt 4200 psi pressure washer, and a 5500 psi sand blaster attachment, took 1 hour to sand blast tHe rear
wheel , sand and prime, it's ready to paint, usually takes me two days per wheel.

That is a BIG job BTDT and did not like it nor plan to do it again... I will pay someone to do it if it does not fit in my blast cabinet ...

I tried that gadget almost two decades ago and gave up after the first couple tries. Keeping the sand dry enough for the siphon line to pick it up was next to impossible. How are you dealing with that issue?

Have had no problem, the hose is long enough to leave the sand in the shop, and run the sander out in front, took 30 minutes per wheel to
sand blast both sides and centers, that save me 4 days of wire brushing and sanding, let them dry, ran 220 sander over all 10 minutes, and
then sprayed primer, I am loving it, but, it takes a 4200 or better psi cleaner to work good, I tried my 2400 psi machine, and it used less sand,
and took twice as long to sand.will take photos of my setup tomorrow and post, it's dark out now.

I am interested in getting more details on the water blasting head you are using. Could you provide more information on the unit, possibly the model number, manufacturer and where it could be ordered from or where a data sheet could be obtained? I would appreciate it.

Will do, have it I my shed, but I just got back from emergency room, have to stay off foot, recommend you don't drop a tractor on your foot, it hurts
