2020 diff lock

The diff lock on my 2020 doesn't move. I can't engage it. It is a lever/handel that moves sideways. I have never used it, now I need it to push snow in the winter.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Probably the shaft is rusted/siezed in the bore where it goes into the transmission case. A very small area, If I remember correctly, there is an O-ring in there to seal the shaft and case. Start spraying the outside with penetrating oil. Then try to work the shaft in all directions. Up, Down, Foreward, and Back. I got mine loose that way. Otherwise you will need to remove the axle housing assembly.

Yes this is the direction to start, don't get heavey with the hammer, spray and tap it a little every now and then, it's stuck in the outer inch or so.
