I recently purchased a john deere 2020 and it has some type of problem.
When you push the cluth in it does not coast like it should. i have inspected the tranmission screen and it was clean, i looked at trans filter and it is also clean.it does not seem like it is a brake problem.Is there any way of diagonissing it without tearing it apart?

Loosen the brake lines and see if it will coast..

I agree with Tim but I'll suggest to just loosen the brake bleeder screw on each side.

I took off both brake lines and one bleeder screw, one is stuck and i plan on letting it soak with penetrating oil. It still does not coast like it should. By doing this what did i elimante and what should i do next?

Having the brake lines loose eliminated the possibility the master cylinder not letting the applied pressure return..
