It's been a great year for these old plants. We believe they were planted here by the original owners nearly 100 years ago. Later, the old farm sat abandoned for about 20 years. We've been enjoying these berries since moving here nearly 20 years ago, and this is definitely one of the best seasons yet!

Do you cut them down to the ground each early spring before green up? Dad does that to his and gets good berries that way. Helps keep the old dead canes out and lets the newer ones flourish that way.
