2155 John Deere

Yes, the rear mounting of the Mahindra FEL seemed to match up just fine, the front mount required a 5 inch (aprox) butt weld addition to match up and reach the Deere front mounting point. What I noted is on the rear mount where the step up standardly mounted with bolts was strictly used for the loader mount and the step was welded to the loader bracket. I would have made a separate plate and just bolted it all on for convenience of loader removal and still have the step. Pictures attached. Overall though, really a neat job, and happy and content to have this loader on this 2155. Sadly, no notion on the Closed center or or inner seal question. I know the joystick control is Mahindra.

Simple test of FEL control valve to determine if it's set up for the 2155 closed center hyd system is disconnect FEL control valve ""return hose"" from your tractor & if applicable remove breakaway coupler or tip from this hose leaving return oil hose open, Cap orifice on tractor it no breakaway device is present. With joystick lever in neutral start engine, no oil should exit open return hose.

Maybe I put my post in the wrong place. Just did it today!
Welcome to the forums.

It is generally best if you start a thread of your own, unless you are replying to something in a reasonably current thread. Jumping in on the end of an old post like this can lead to people overlooking your post. They often read the first post of a thread and reply to it, not the last post of a thread. When you first view a forum<like this john Deere one, you should see a red Start Thread button to the right side of the page, click on it to start a new thread of your own.

No harm done, just a method to get more "on point" responses to your own needs.

TY - I will contemplate starting a new post on my purchase! What was of interest to me is the techie thinking on modifying a Mahindra loader brackets and hydraulics so neatly. My old Massey had a Case loader modified and I made sure no one thought I had done it! Messy! It is off to the Auction soon.
