2255 compression hyd hose

I have been having been having a lot of trouble with the main hose 30-3107922 from the pressure control valve. It leaks at the compression fitting after about 100 hrs. Looking at the parts book I see there is a part # 50A173 connector and associated o ring then a 30-314 3945 hose. Is this a update or a better system. Or just a different hose for a different valve 30-301 8741 to a 30-3104184?? Thanks
