2290 PS (kinda long)

I was corrogating the other day in 3rd range. Sometimes when i let the clutch out the tractor would start to go and then stop but if i pulled in the pedal by hand it would take off. once going it would shift very hard into ps 2nd and 3rd. I adjusted the cable and it seems a little better, but it really acts like it starts to go as i let the pedal out, and once the pedal is all the way it is almost like it stops going and then starts again very hard....do i need to have ethe ps valve adjusted?

Sounds like the clutch cable is getting sticky and or the clutch pedal spring is weak or broken. Some of those had 2 springs on them. With the pedal pulled up you can check the inching spool in the control valve and the spool sound be pushed down in the valve as far as it will go. If not adjust cable so it does. Rod.
