231s Power Steering pump

I have a Massey Ferguson 231s and I haven't been able to get a part # for power Steering pump for this tractor.
It's serial # is 9681L04161
I was told it has been discontinued.
Surely someone makes a generic pump
any help appreciated

A Dealership finally told me I needed Part # 0013654u91--
They didn't have one or could they get one

Charles welcome to YT. Amazingly enough many times
when you web search a part number often there are
multiple options of availability for them. Such is the
case for the number they gave you. In the 1st link is the
contact for the parent company of YT, All States Ag
Parts. I would suggest contacting them by phone to see if they
can get this pump. In the link is an example of another
company in WI that offers this pump for a little over
$300.

It appears they used different pumps based on serial numbers. What is your serial number?

Have you talked with the parts department at your local dealer? Where have you contacted (in person, by phone, or email), not just looking online?

No there isn’t a local dealer near me. That’s y I’m reaching out online. Yes they do have different pumps. Mine has expansion tank on top.

Where are you located?

Using the online AGCO parts site, you can find AGCO MF dealers around that do ecommerce (and the ones that don't as well). You could deal with a dealer remotely and have a pump shipped to you. You don't need to physically enter the dealerships to get parts, most will work with people over the phone. My local dealer doesn't currently do ecommerce, but a phone call gets them ordered and when they arrive I can go get the parts, or they will ship them to me if I want.
