236 Loader problems

I got a Massey Furguson 175 I just had some transmission work redone. It needed some clutches on the pto and a pump. I got it back and went to put my loader back on (236) and it’s not acting right. I put it in constant pumping put my lift arm lever all the way back it’ll raise but it’s jumping and not consistent. Also it won’t tilt at all. And to get it back down I have to take my lift arm lever the other direction. He changed my diverter valve under my seat too. It changes it from lift arms to my remotes. Anybody have a clue where I should start? The fluid it full too

Are those filters on that valve for the handles
Are you talking about the small “can” shaped items that have “Warning” on their labels? No they are not filters. What does the rest of the label say? Does your loader plug into the remotes? If so I would unplug the hoses and plug them back in making sure they seat in properly. Beyond that I agree, the mechanic should make it work correctly. Does the word “redone” mean the transmission repairs were done once and needed redone? Or you just chose a word that really didn’t give the right description and the transmission repairs were just completed for the first time?

Filters? In your first picture, I see the end caps (with warning labels about removing the caps on them) that have the valve spool centering mechanisms under them, on the end opposite the valve control handles.

redone as in he had to change the disk for my pto they were warped and my pto stayed running constantly. He said while he was in there he changed the pump.

Wow, when I first read the title on this post I though how bad could a persons luck be to have 236 loader problems all at the same time. Glad it didn't turn out to be that. I agree with the "make him fix it comment" It seems these days it more the rule than the exception that when you have a repair done on most anything, you end up completing it yourself to some degree because of a faulty/unfinished job.

If you paid him he needs to make it right. If not paid then let it go and fix it yourself. Then never go back to him. He'll spread the word your not good for your money, but if asked you can say he didn't fix it right or he never finished the job.
