2394 park lever adjustment

Friend just bought a Case 2394 tractor. It has the 24 speed in it. Everything seems to work correctly in the transmission. The only thing is when you put it into park It seems like it does not engage all the way. We both have had it pop out of park when we let the clutch out. The lever will move back about 2 inches when this happens. He will be using this on a manure pump and also running a roller mill. So we need to know it will stay in park when left running.
P.S. we know about not leaving the power shift level in reverse when doing stationary PTO work.

If you turn the steering wheel while trying to engage the park it will help it go in.
