There have been some 24VOLT questions. 1- led lights are ok but since they do not have a grounded case the dedicated terminals need to be connected to the frame of the tractor. Otherwise you will have Christmas tree lights and no fuel gauge. 2- Changing to 12 volts is ok but not for a small piece of broken rubber on the voltage regulator

(quoted from post at 17:32:19 11/28/18) There have been some 24VOLT questions. 1- led lights are ok but since they do not have a grounded case the dedicated terminals need to be connected to the frame of the tractor. Otherwise you will have Christmas tree lights and no fuel gauge.

May I ask what installing LED lights on a JD 24 elect system has any bearing on the fuel gauge operation?? Are you implying if LED lights are operating that the fuel gauge will now become inoperable?
