2510 - Broke something

Had just finished up brush hogging and was going down the
road to where I keep the tractor when I hit a big bump in the
road. Tractor started making an off noise. Stopped and
looked and saw this piece sticking out. It was actually out
further than it is now, I pushed it back in some.



Made it home, but now it is leaking some sort of oil from the
other side where it looks like this pin/linkage was supposed
to go through.



Any idea what this is and how I go about fixing it?!?!

Load shaft. Not a bad job but I'll let someone else walk you through it. It's been a couple decades.

Very concerning that you do not see fluid coming out of that.

I would check your trans/hydr fluid level ASAP and not drive it any more.

That LC shaft is really far out. You might have a really good seal and its not leaking but take a look at the video in the old post of mine and you can see what happens when the seals go bad.

Ditto on checking hyd fluid before tractor is moved. L/D shaft is protruding out in photo held in place by a cap on each end of drawbar support.
