2520 and ta 25 loader

Hi, a ta-25 has come up for sale locally with a joystick and 2510 mounts for 2500$. We have a 2520 and some 1500 lb bales to move. We are totally unfamiliar with loaders outside of the one on our d-14. Would this be a little light for big bales or just fine? How does it compare to a 148? Our other option is to look for a loader for our mf1100, or would this one fit the 1100 also with different mounts. Thanks.

I think Westendorf's website is: www.loaders.com , the TA25 specs are listed.

The TA25 loader's actual working capacity is listed as 3000 pounds at 2500PSI and 3600 punds at 3000PSI. If your 2520 has 2000PSI hydraulics that would be 2400 pounds. The loader's capacity could be limited by your tractor's hydraulics.

We sold lots of TA25 and TA26 loaders years ago.It will do what you want and you will like it.The quick attach bucket is so easy to drop and the loader comes off fast too.We liked to sell the TA26 for 3020-4020 tractors and the 25 for Deere utilities and 2510-2520 tractors.I like a TA26 more than a Deere 148.The TA25 is closer to a 146 loader.
