2520 transmission temperature

AR38882 transmission temperature gauge/thermocouple obsolete. what are my options?

Since that gauge was used only on the model 2520 I suppose you'll have to do this. Contact your local John Deere dealer for other options.

went there first. they said gauge was obsolete and they couldn't help me. what i'm wondering, is there a thermocouple that might would fit and if i found one what temperature range would be right. the original jd gauge just had a red area for over heated without numerical values. do you know or know where i could find the normal and overheated values?

I have never seen one of these guages move.Maybe with a loader or some high output hyd function but never in general use.Pre side console tractors did not have them. Why couldn't you use a 3020 or 4020 guage, they should be close.

IIRC the 3020/4020 Powershift gauge is a pressure not temp. gauge.
