2600 Ford

Does anyone know why some 2600's have air cleaner access on front cowl on right side and some are back toward middle of tractor on left side? Just curious.

Can't help you exactly. I do know they were different between the gas and diesels. Gassers generally used paper filters and diesels oil bath.

Some are Gas, others are Diesel. I think the diesels have it up front. Can't remember. Been 30 years since I worked for a dealer

Sometimes I prove that I'm a dingbat. It's obvious now that you guys pointed me in the right direction. Looking at some pictures the gassers have the access hole on the left near the operators seat and the diesels are on the right on the front cowl. Thanks!
