263 in a 460

You can put a 263, it will fit the same as the stock engine, but most just skip right to the 301. Unless you just already have the engine or a really good deal, it would be best to go for a 301.
 
You can put a 263, crank in your block. Then put in 263 pistons. That block can be bored for 291 sleeves and pistons, maybe even run 291 pistons with no sleeves, but I'm not sure of the parent bore of your block. Might be cheaper to find a 301 or 291 to start with.
