Can someone tell me how much engine oil a 2630 holds? I just rebuilt the engine and went buy the shop manual and it is just to the add make after 2 1/2 gallons. Just wondering if I need to keep poring or is the dipstick the wrong one? This manual says 10 qts but not enough if stick is right!

I think 11 or 12 should be close. I had to drive back in to get a second 2 and a half gallon jug on a 2640 in recent memory as I thought with 10 quarts it would be 1 jug of his oil he wanted.

The owner's manual shows 10 quarts with filter change. If you don't have an OM you can download it for free at https://techpubs.deere.com/
