2630 Hydraulics

Howdy all and happy Memorial Day!
I have a '74 2630 with independent PTO, dual remotes, small pump. Hydraulics will not work unless pto lever between the shifters is engaged. The master pto control doesn't have any effect. Pto works when engaged with the master and independent lever also. Hydraulic pressure tests ok according to my son. He also checked the pump itself, nothing appears to be wrong.
Any thoughts on why this is occurring?

Sounds like pto brake circuit has an oil leak, likely in the pipe from the valve to the pto brake piston. Remove the shift cover and apply air pressure to the pto oil pipes to confirm the leak.

Sounds as pto brake oil supply tube from control valve to brake housing has a very large leak inside clutch/trans housing
