2910 suitcase weights

I got a ford 2910 as a basket case and rebuilt it. I have seen photos of these tractors with suitcase weights and I am trying to find the bracket and weights with no luck. Was it offered Oem or have these all been custom made?

they were available oem and aftermarket. Aftermarket are still available from North State Sales Co.

Thanks. I'll call them. Do you know what other tractors the Oem bracket would fit ? This would help me locate one.

2810 - 4610 should all be the same and I'm sure there are others. I can look it up at work tomorrow.

The bracket bolts to the front bolster below/behind the grill sheet metal. The weights are smaller than on the larger tractors

Yes North State Sales. I actually bought a set and they work great. Keep in mind that they are heavier (80 vs 60lbs) so 3-4 is all you want considering the lighter duty axle design of the 2910. Bracket plus 3 weights comes in around 275lbs. Full set of 5 oem weights plus bracket is about 330lbs.

Worley said they have four weights and a bracket for a 4000. .
I don't think that bracket will work. My friend has a 3000 and I know it is different. Seems like a hard to find item.

If it is a 4000 and not a 4000SU they will fit. The 4000SU uses a 3000 style front bolster and the 4000 used the cast bolster as used on the 2910.

Be aware that the 2910 with 2 wheel drive uses the same bolster as the 3000 - 4000 SU tractors, while the 2910 4 wheel drive uses the cast bolster similar to the larger tractors!
In other words, the 2 wheel drive 2910 takes an entirely different bracket than the 4 wheel drive 2910!
